Live, NASA camera broadcasting via Streaming HD from ISS in space

Seeing the Earth from a spacecraft in space and dreaming of being an astronaut is much easier. NASA is now live streaming, broadcasting Earth views from the International Space Station, through four high definition video cameras installed in the ISS.

The project, known as High Definition Earth Viewing (HDEV) experiment, aims to show how the video cameras behave in the space environment. You can see the views of HD Earth (from the International Space Station) here:

“The cameras are enclosed in a casing at specific temperature and are exposed to the radiation of the space,” say NASA officials in making a descriptive summary of the HDEV experiment, in addition “HDEV can help engineers at  of Decide which cameras are the best to use in future missions ”
